Almost all our spots at our camping site by northern Lake Vättern are available for online booking. You can easily reserve your spot or cabin by clicking the “book” button down below. We offer camping with bathing facilities, where you can choose to stay in a caravan, motorhome, or tent. Although we don’t have specific spots for motorhomes, there are always options that can suit depending on weather conditions. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Booking information
When you book with us, you reserve a specific spot. Therefore, it can be difficult to extend your stay, especially during peak season. Most camping spots are about 100 square meters with an 10-amp electric hook-up.
Spots 134-142 are larger, at 120 square meters and have grass surfaces. Spots 242-250 and 279-288 are drop-in spots, meaning they cannot be booked in advance but are always extendable. Spots 289-298 include both bookable and drop-in options and do not have electricity.
General Information
SHOWER AND ENTRANCE
8 minutes of shower time per day
Upon check-in, you will receive two cards per spot that grant access to the entrance gate and showers in the service building. These cards are returned at check-out. Shower usage includes 8 minutes per day split between the two cards. Additional minutes can be purchased for 4 SEK for 2 minutes.
TOILET FACILITIES
Easy-access rinsing station
There is an easy-access rinsing station near the service building for motorhomes to empty gray water and refill with fresh water. Latrine emptying is available at designated locations in the service building. A Camper Clean station is also available for emptying your latrine tank. Water stations are located throughout the camping site, please refer to the area map.

Tent Spots at Our Camping Site outside Askersund
At the tent area, we have three rows where you can pitch your tent and park your car. The rows facing the forest and in the middle are without electricity and are drop-in spots. Closest to the caravans, there are spots for tents with electricity, where spots 1-3 are bookable online while spots 4 and 5 are drop-in. Unfortunately, we do not provide refrigerators or equipment for tent campers, but we offer ice pack exchange for 5 SEK per exchange per ice pack.
Our Guests Have This to Say
Both you and your dog are warmly welcomed to the campsite if you are staying in a motorhome/caravan, or in cabins 1-9 or in cabin 18. Keep your dog on the lead and exercise it outside the campsite.
Use dog poop-bags.
Dogs are not allowed in cabins 10-17 or in the communal areas at the campsite.
We have a laundry in the service building at the campsite, with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. You use the machine when it is free. You use the shower/entrance card that you were given at check-in, which you load at reception. SEK 40 for one wash and SEK 20 for one hour’s drying.
If you want to stay with us, one person in the party must be aged 20 or over.
8 minutes of shower time per day is included, divided over two cards. Buying extra time costs SEK 4 for 2 minutes.
The pool is not included in the camping fee, but camping guests receive a discounted rate.
Yes, here you book your own specific pitch. Thus it can be difficult to extend your stay during high summer.
Of course you can BBQ. Always have water to hand so that you can quickly extinguish should anything happen. Fire extinguishers are located in the area. Ensure that you know where the nearest one is to be found. Open fires on the ground, and single-use BBQs are not allowed. BBQs are forbidden on the beach. Empty the charcoal into the designated containers when disposing of waste at the service building.
